It's dark. It's a little cold. Slowly opening his eyes, Casey would wake up to a pile of rubble. He knew this was coming but didn't expect it to make such a huge entrance. Or did he? He was still unsure about that.

Finally seeing everything coherently, he immediately sat up and found that his back had taken a bit of a toll. Probably because of his fall. But he's okay. Mostly. Then he called out towards the other three that were at the site with him.

"Candice? Earl? Rob?" Some sort of answer came about twenty seconds later. A pile of rubble about thirty feet in front of him moved. From it emerged a man in a goatee who seemed to be in his mid-thirties.

"Da..?" This man seemed to be in pain as well.

"Rob!" Casey then rushed over to try and heal him. It seemed to have done some good. "Rob, are you alright?"

"Da, I'm fine... My back hurts a little..." he said with an obvious Russian accent. Casey helped him stand up so they could finally find out where they were. And when they did, they didn't think they were in Astoria anymore.

"Uh, Rob? Where are we..?" Casey asked, not a single doubt in his mind that they were no longer in Astoria. Or Paragon City for that matter. Sure it was dark but colors were still coherent at the very least. Everything around them seemed... barren. Were they at a desert? Were they above ground?

"I don't know," the Russian responded. Rob took a look around and walked a few feet in several directions while Casey flew up about fifty feet to see if there was anything around. The darkness didn't really help his vision.

"Rob, I don't see anything out there... But we need to find Earl and Candice. We can find a way out of here later. I'm almost positive that we're not in Paragon City anymore." Casey flew back down beside Rob and gestured for them to get going. Go where, Casey really didn't have any idea.

"You don't know where we're going, do you," Rob said, not really asking as much as confirming.

"It's that obvious, huh..." But Casey didn't care. They needed to move. He couldn't sense their magic signatures nearby so that means they weren't there. "I couldn't feel them where we were at, so I figured going somewhere would be best. You didn't wanna stay there, did you?"

"Nyet," Rob shook his head. As they continued to walk further, it gradually became more lit. Light was coming from somewhere. In a matter of minutes, they would lay witness to a moon rise. But it wasn't just one moon. It was two. "Umm... Casey?"

"Yeah, I see that..." One moon was silver, just like Earth's moon. The other, well... It was red, yellow, and orange in some spots, comparable to that of Jupiter's moon, Io. "We're obviously not home anymore... C'mon. We gotta find the other two before we look for a way out of here."

"Da... It... I have never seen that before..." It was obvious that Rob was astounded and maybe even a little creeped out by that. But before they stepped further, he stopped walking and held Casey back.

"Rob, what's wrong?" Casey turned and asked. Rob stayed quiet and was looking straight ahead, his hands already on the holsters of his pistols. Just then, Casey suddenly felt a magical surge. "Oookay, what the hell was that?" In front of their eyes, a flying creature just suddenly became visible in front of them. The creature was spherical in nature with draconic wings with one large eye and a mouth. It seemed ready to eat them both. But first, it would send off an orange beam from its lone eye in an attempt to cook them both. It was the creature's dinner time.

Thankfully, Rob and Casey were both able to dodge it in time. Rob jumped to the left while Casey jumped over to the right. At the moment, the creature seemed to be going for Casey. After dodging one more eye beam from the creature, Casey promptly executed a smiting blast towards it incinerating or otherwise injuring the creature's left wing, successfully incapacitating it. Or so Casey and Rob thought. The creature went back up in the air flying to try and get Casey. He was ready to smite the creature once more time until there were three shots heard in the other direction successfully killing the creature and it disintegrated into black smoke.

Rob then immediately ran towards Casey. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine... But it was almost like my magic didn't work on it. Where... are we?" It was rhetorical, but Rob knew that.

"We don't know and I believe we are going to run into these creatures again. We need to hurry and find Candice and Earl. I have a bad feeling that they may already be in danger."

"Yeah, let's get going." And with that, Casey and Rob flew off into the same direction they were going. Dismissing the fact that they don't know where they are, they went off to look for their two other comrades.
